Westward Ho
Product Details
During the Art Decco period, it was fashionable for travelers to adorn their suitcases with colorful stickers that let the World know where thier travels had taken them. Travel to the Western American States was no exception, retracing the trails first traversed by wagon trains that began their journey to California to start a new life with the cry, "Westward, Ho." Well-worn suitcases, decorated with vintage stickers featuring states, historic sites, national parks and roadside attractions were the sign of a seasoned traveler and they are highly collectible today. Artists Rod Barker and Janee Hughes recreate this vision with a 6 1/2" resin figure.
