Song of Angles depicts the Heavenly Angels that play such an important role in the Celebration of Christmas. In the Christmas Story, it is told that God gave a small group of tiny angels the special responsibility of watching over Joseph and Mary on the journey to Bethlehem. The young couple was carefully guided over the rugged terrain during a cold, winter night. The same band of little angels was so excited at witnessing the birth of Christ, that they burst into song that reached the heavens and was so melodious that it weas heard all over the Earth. A host of Heavenly Angels joined and sang "Glory be to God in the highest, and on earth, peace and good will to men." Artist Fabienne Leydecker's figure measures 6 1/2" tall.
