As part of the Tribal Collection "Keeper Of The Sacred Fire" is a moving tribute to the Potawatomi Indians, known as the Fire Nation because they were the "Keeper's Of The Fire". They made their homes along the shores of the Great Lakes, relying on their canoes they fished, hunted, gathered rice and were known for their intricate flower and scroll designs. The artist grew up along the "Trail Of Tears" and created a moving tribute to the Potawatomi Indians who were tragically relocated to the Plains of Kansas and Oklahoma in 1838.
