The sights, sounds and smells of those surroundings wwere the roots for many of her happiest childhood memories. She started drawing when she was very young and continued into her teen years. As time went on, she found less and less time to devote to drawing. She raised a family along side of a career in banking. Although her art career was delayed, she continued as an avid horsewoman competing in the show ring with cow horses.
